Empowering Peri-Urban Dairy Farmers with Digital Livestock Identity and Feed Efficiency Gains

Overview

In the evolving peri-urban dairy zones of Kanpur, MooRakshak is working with 800+ dairy farmers to establish digital identities for each animal, optimize feeding, and boost yield efficiency. Many of these farmers serve urban milk markets, where feed precision directly impacts income stability.

The project serves as a testbed for feed performance tracking, lactation-stage-specific advisory, and early climate-readiness scoring—enabled via mobile.
